Laps for Lafayette fundraiser

On Friday, October 2, 2026 the Lafayette Elementary PTO is hosting our annual fundraiser, Laps for Lafayette. Each grade will run/jog/walk around a ¼ mile course on the field during their regular Specials time. This is one of our students’ favorite fundraisers!
Laps for Lafayette is our largest fundraiser of the year. The money raised funds a variety of enrichment and educational opportunities for our students. These include: the math and literacy tutors, clubs & activities, quality art supplies, library materials, Garden to Table and more!
GOALS & PLEDGE OPTIONS
We hope you’ll join us by asking grandparents, family, friends and neighbors for their support. Our 2026 Laps for Lafayette goal is $20,000 – that is just $50 student! → Idea: Ask 5 friends to sponsor your child at $10/sponsor.
Family and friends may pledge their support of student runners by simply donating online or with a check, payable to Lafayette Elementary PTO. Be sure to include your student’s name & grade on the byline of checks so they receive credit for their pledges!
CORPORATE DONATIONS
Don’t forget to submit your donation for a corporate match. Lafayette Elementary PTO is a 501(c)3 organization and all donations are tax deductible. Ask your employer if they have a corporate match program!
RECOGNITION, REWARDS & PRIZES
Thanks to the generous support of many local Lafayette businesses, we have some fantastic prizes to motivate and reward students looking to go above and beyond. Donations MUST be turned in by 10/5/25 for prize consideration! We will not accept late pledges for prizes.

Wear red or your Cougar Gear to show your school spirit.
FUEL FOR THE SPECTATORS
And, support the PTO white getting your caffeine fix! Travelin’ Tom’s Coffee Truck will be parked in the front circle from 9am-11am and a portion of proceeds benefit the PTO.
PRIZES
Our top 3 fundraisers and top lap runner (1) in every class will receive a special prize. Additionally all students will get a prize for participating in the run!
📸 PICTURE WITH CT
If your student raises $100 or more, they will get their picture taken with our Mascot, CT on Tuesday, October 27th.  Our Cougars love this!
